The Blue Diviners ~ Kindle version updated

This is a note of appreciation for Aaron Moore. He professionally copy edited The Blue Diviners. And I’m happy to say that I have taken all his edits and notes, conformed them to my manuscript and re-synced it to Amazon Kindle. So readers who already have the book will have a new experience, and new readers will see TBD for the first time in its best light yet.

Aaron’s attention to detail and suggestions for ellipses and colons, were an education to me as I’m still learning the craft and art of writing a novel. And he sent me a funny meme about the em dash.

Thank you Aaron!

The Blue Diviners new cover and a fresh review.

I created a new book cover for the Kindle page. This cover brings Blink and Brin together thanks to the awesome illustrations by my son Leo Pickard. I’m so excited to share with readers a window into the world of The Blue Diviners as well as showcase Leo’s amazing artwork. Please check out the sale page for the eBook on Amazon and buy today!

Introducing Brin from The Blue Diviners

Another wonderful illustration by my son Leo Pickard. This is the fifth image a series of character pages for The Blue Diviners. Brin is a navigator finding her way through Alexandria by way of her internal compass. She’ll partner with Blink, to lead lost souls to safety. This image will also be in the paperback that I am formatting. I’m so excited to share with readers a window into the world of The Blue Diviners as well as showcase Leo’s amazing artwork. Please check out the sale page for the eBook on Amazon.

Introducing Blink from The Blue Diviners

Another wonderful illustration by my son Leo Pickard. This is the fourth image a series of character pages for The Blue Diviners. Blink is the books protagonist. He is the adventurer and explorer that I have always wanted to be. This image will also be in the paperback that I am formatting. I’m so excited to share with readers a window into the world of The Blue Diviners as well as showcase Leo’s amazing artwork. Please check out the sale page for the eBook on Amazon.

Pounding the streets to promote The Blue Diviners novel

Small update here. A flyer for The Blue Diviners. I’ve sold some books in the last three months and have learned how to place ads on Amazon to create impressions for the novel. Recently, I made an 11×17 inch flyer to post up around town. But where to hang it up? Here’s the flyer in question. This is version 3 of the flyer. I’m using Photoshop and working with the book cover as a background. I keep trying different copy, different placement of the QR code…

So far, I’ve tried posted it up at a Thundercloud Subs, The Musician’s Woodshed, and The Bee Cave Public Library and an Office Depot(where I printed out). Oh, I also put it up at our local corner store.

Paleface Grocery ~ Community Board

Looking for ideas on places that have community boards in Austin so I can post more. My next trip is to Planet K, Austin Books and The Drag at UT Austin.
