All of my paperbacks sold at Book People. Thank you to my friends who walked themselves over on their happy feet to pick up a copy. Enjoy your reading and share with a friend.
Bad Guys Love Tangents
Why do villains always go on some long and meandering story about some trivial experience?
I mean, just shoot me already.
Are villains our id , expressing our thought processes? In some ways, the villain of any story is our hero, a reflection or echo of our own past traumas.
And…I think this might be a good name for a band…Bad Guys Love Tangents.
Buy The Blue Diviners at Book People
The Blue Diviners is now available in paperback at Book People in Austin.
Kim suggested selling locally. We thought a farmer’s market might work or going into a bookstore or a retail space. Then, I discovered a consignment program on Book People’s website. This was the perfect program for me. For $75, they’re able to carry 8 copies and place a few in the front on their “New & Noteworthy” table. I have launched my own sales promotional campaign which is mainly word of mouth, LinkedIn, Instagram… Not sure what the next step is. Posters? Book reviews for sure. Not sure how to get one though. Hmm…
Looking for ideas on who I can contact in the media to review or write a story on the book. I haven’t really opened up the topics in the book. I feel like there is a lot to talk about around loss and grief. I suppose I don’t want to give anything away, and people may not be picking up on what I think is there. Maybe I see it as deeper and heavier than it really is. I haven’t really heard what other people think of the book itself. But everyone love’s the artwork. Thanks to Leo Pickard.
So this me, the author, the mind of Blink, signing off. Bye.

Blue Diviners out in paperback now!
$12.99, what more is there to say. Please leave a review if your read the book. It turned out so well. Thank you KDP. Thank you Leo Pickard for bringing the characters to life with your inspired artwork. This is a preview copy. The “Not for Resale” banner is just for this proof, not the actual paperback.
A Film About A Film!
Fun short film about the hoops we go through to get into the film industry. What is a short film anyway? Well this certainly qualifies.
Turning Toward The Morning ~ Premieres Sunday
Daaang! ~ Out of This World Visuals
Got to hand it to Amon Tobin and the designers of this video. This is the type of imagery and feeling that I tried to conjure up when writing for The Blue Diviners. I feel I had some successes, but I have more to work on with the craft.
