Hey all, this new poster highlights the availability of the paperback at Bee Cave Public Library. I have posted it on their community billboard.
Also, I posted at Austin Public Library’s community board. The book is not available there. But it is for sale at Book People. Look for it in the local author section or Teen Sci-fi Fantasy.
I edited this behind-the-scenes look at the production process for parmigiano reggiano. Between the slow motion shots of the milk pouring or the stirring of curds in copper vats, the thumping music track locks you into the storied tradition of the cheese maker’s art.
More copies of the book are back on shelf. Special thanks to those who bought out the first 8 books. And thanks also to Book People for their consignment program which is a great way for local authors to showcase their work at one of Austin’s legendary local spots for books, gifts and coffee. Pick up a copy today!
All of my paperbacks sold at Book People. Thank you to my friends who walked themselves over on their happy feet to pick up a copy. Enjoy your reading and share with a friend.
Why do villains always go on some long and meandering story about some trivial experience?
I mean, just shoot me already.
Are villains our id , expressing our thought processes? In some ways, the villain of any story is our hero, a reflection or echo of our own past traumas.
And…I think this might be a good name for a band…Bad Guys Love Tangents.
Kim suggested selling locally. We thought a farmer’s market might work or going into a bookstore or a retail space. Then, I discovered a consignment program on Book People’s website. This was the perfect program for me. For $75, they’re able to carry 8 copies and place a few in the front on their “New & Noteworthy” table. I have launched my own sales promotional campaign which is mainly word of mouth, LinkedIn, Instagram… Not sure what the next step is. Posters? Book reviews for sure. Not sure how to get one though. Hmm…
Looking for ideas on who I can contact in the media to review or write a story on the book. I haven’t really opened up the topics in the book. I feel like there is a lot to talk about around loss and grief. I suppose I don’t want to give anything away, and people may not be picking up on what I think is there. Maybe I see it as deeper and heavier than it really is. I haven’t really heard what other people think of the book itself. But everyone love’s the artwork. Thanks to Leo Pickard.
So this me, the author, the mind of Blink, signing off. Bye.
